1) He is incredibly smart.
2) His vision for America is about unity. Not a "real America", but the whole country.
3) He believes that if the lower income people have more money that they will spend some and it will be good fro the economy. Not if rich people have more money they will let a little fall out of their pocket for the rest of us.
4) He is a man for the future, not an old man living in the past.
Now generalisimo can tell us how John McCain is all of those things as well.
Ready, set, go...

I'll be getting a check. It is called a paycheck and under Obama I should be able to keep a little more of it. Hooray for me!

How is this going to "take away the ability of small businesses to succeed"?

5.he won't know how to deal with the problems in iraq, if america gives up in iraq all the deaths of those soldiers will be in vain.

Most politicians have charisma levels similar to my left shoe.....
Also don't people like all politicians because of the Image they project.... Being that the image they project is usually tied to their campaign strategy and their policies.... What exactly does McCain (or Obama for that matter) have that isn't part of his image? Most politicians are as straight as bananas and need an "image" as you put it, to cover then fact that their simply power hungry and get a pay rise if elected to higher office.
My opinion of it all is that both candidates are intelligent people and will do a better job that the big eared chimp running the place at the minute. However McCain seems to have decided that the Chimp's policies were ok and wants to keep much of them, which is bad. Plus he picked a raving lunatic for a running mate..... Seriously she actually believes there were dinosaurs on the earth at the same time as humans.... Can the US really afford to have her facing down Putin with her finger on the big red button (Revelations ending much).... Voting for her is pure insanity.......

4. Internationally people seem to like him. Maybe if the US elects him they will like us even more!!.
5. He claims he will get us out of Iraq, whatever that means.
Any others?
In other words, you vote because of the ISSUES! Or is this something completely foreign to you yanks? Is this why virtually all of your campaigns centre around ridiculous things like clothing expenses?

And as I said in other threads, Im not a Sarah Palin fan, I do think McCain would be a good president, but there's no way Palin is the right person to be VP, I still remember all that thing about the Russians invading Alaska...
