While that may be true, I was trying to point out that racism seems to be a feature of most human interaction and is found to varying degrees between most ethnic/cultural groups. There's this from the Wikipedia on Racism in Africa about the interaction between the Pygmies and the Bantu. The extent to which the Bantu articulate a superiority over the Pygmy is unclear though. While we can observe the domination of one group by another, it may not be appropriate to assume that the Bantu language themselves as being the superior group.

Ethnic pygmy populations in Central Africa suffer from racialized discrimination from Bantu peoples. Pygmies and Bantus differ physically and genetically due to long lasting evolutionary separation until the Bantu expansion brought them back into close contact. Pygmies have been targeted for slavery by Bantu populations continuing into the modern age. They are frequently ostracized from participation into the wider society in the various African countries that they live in and are seen as untouchables. Racially-motivated attacks occur on Pygmies including rape and cannibalization.

In other instances of slavery between African groups it is not entirely clear the extent to which the dominant enslaving group considers the group enslaved to be racially inferior. I think we could safely infer that to be the case, but it would be a conjecture.

Racism is a diversionary tactic foisted on the general public by the powerful, to keep us looking sideways at each other and blaming each other while they get away with murder. Your old school tie is more likely to dictate where you end up in life than your skin colour.

White European slavery wasn’t about racism either. It was about money, resources and power.

Racism was a means to an end.
A way of justifying the means by making it more acceptable to the masses, so it could continue longer.

Or do you have any proof that that the racism came before the slavery? I.e that making money out of the European slavery of Africans came after they thought they were superior?
