I'm not a fan of "explaining" any more. I did far too much of it in my 30s. If I don't measure up to some boring fool's "morality", too F-ing bad. All I care about is whether I can justify my actions to myself. At least I don't lie to myself. I'm not here to make anyone else's life all pink and fluffy. We all have a past, and we all have to live in the present as best we can. Honestly, I'm one of the few people I know who have reconciled the two.
