First, he was talking about anybody's kid, not just his.
Second, he wasn't against desegregation, he was against busing. (No, they're not the same, moron.)
Busing was the easy way out for the school districts against desegregation in the first place. What about using that money to hire better teachers, spend money on the syllabus, actually increasing the quality of the black schools? No, can't have that, said the white schools.

One can oppose a method, but not the goal.
Biden fought the goal of desegregation. That is exemplified by the fact he sided with the segregationists in congress.
Biden could have fought segregation to end busing. Instead he fought busing to continue segregation. He was obviously against the goal. Biden's "racial Jungle" quote is not something a de-segregationist would say. Anybody who says otherwise is in denial for partisan reasons.
