Just when you think he really can't go any lower:
"Speaking during a White House news briefing on the coronavirus, Trump on Tuesday managed to keep on topic for much of his appearance — a contrast to his earlier news briefings that often devolved into quasi-campaign rallies. But he left the topic of the pandemic once to answer a question about Maxwell’s case.
“I’ve met her numerous times over the years, especially since I lived in Palm Beach, and I guess they lived in Palm Beach. But I wish her well, whatever it is,” Trump said.
Maybe a pardon is in the offing IF (shudder!) the Donald gets re-elected?
I'll quote from the rest of the article without editorial comment:
"Trump’s comment raised eyebrows at the Justice Department, with one prosecutor noting the president didn't comment on the death of the son of U.S. District Judge Esther Salas in New Jersey, whose family was attacked on Sunday by a gunman dressed as a courier at their front door.
“The president has nothing to say about a gun-toting madman who just murdered the son of a federal judge. But he takes time out of his press conference to send well wishes to a woman accused of trafficking teenager girls for sex,” the prosecutor told POLITICO.
Referring to Trump’s granting clemency to his former adviser Roger Stone, the prosecutor said: “That’s gross on its face, and in the aftermath of the Stone pardon, it reeks of the president indicating to her that he might reward her if she’ll stay silent about whatever she knows about him.”

No, it isn't the Onion; he really, really said it.
@no1marauder saidWow. The man is an enigma. Maybe he just doesn't want to be blamed for her scheduled "suicide."

I’m not going to be shocked by anything trump says. Every single day for 4 years, you open the news and there’s some new madness concerning the man.
So much so, I can’t even remember most of it.
Just watch a Colbert or Seth Meyers from a random date the last 3 years and you’llnsee what I mean.
Wishing a sex trafficer well, doesn’t even rank in the top 500 of bat💩 crazy stuff he’s said or done.
For example:
It truly is mind-blowing.
@sleepyguy saidSo.....the thought has crossed your mind ?

In other Clown King news:
"U.S. Ambassador to the United Kingdom Robert Wood Johnson told colleagues in early 2018 that President Trump had asked him to see if the British government would help Turnberry, the president's Scottish golf resort, secure an offer to host the British Open, the world's oldest golf tournament, The New York Times reported."

Anybody NOT believe this?
What about him questioning the 2020 election results?
Or:
"I will build a great, great wall on our southern border, and I will have Mexico pay for that wall. Mark my words."
Or:
"They're sending people that have lots of problems, and they're bringing those problems with us. They're bringing drugs. They're bringing crime. They're rapists. And some, I assume, are good people."
Or:
"The concept of global warming was created by and for the Chinese in order to make U.S. manufacturing non-competitive."
(Actually a 2012 twitter message of his)
Or:
The longest government shut down in history...
@no1marauder saidI’m sure Earl of Trumps or Mott the Hoople will be along shorty to explain how wishing someone well is a nice thing to do and people should stop piling the hate on Donald.

It’s not a pleasant thing to say... but if Trump’s daughter brought as sexual abuse case against him, I hand-on-heart honestly wouldn’t be surprised.
@sleepyguy saidor prince andrew, dont forget phil the greek had diana topped.
That the Clinton's had Epstein killed? Hasn't everyone?
@divegeester saidI wouldn’t read too much into Trump’s statement there about Maxwell. Since it has no direct impact on him or his re-election, he probably hasn’t thought about it enough to form any definite opinion on the case. His wishing her well was most likely a throw-away remark, filler; he couldn’t very well say nothing.

@sonhouse saidWell, that is a possibility, too. If Maxwell dies in custody before she testifies, it will be more than a little suspicious.
@badradger
Or Trump. He was in it just as deep as any of the big whigs.
Trump wishes her well so she can live to testify. Can't wait! Break out the popcorn.
Barr better not repeat the egregious errors that he made with Epstein. Get two
US Marshalls into Maxwell's facility. Place one *right in her cell* and the other
right in front of the entry to the cell. Let NOTHING happen to her.
EDIT to add: Allow Maxwell to only eat take-out that the Marshalls get for her
@Earl-of-Trumps
Yeah it really is terrible the way they treated those upstanding citizens.
If you were AG, they would all go free.
@moonbus saidActually this is exactly what he should have done.
