Didn't she want to do it? Didn't she know the law? Broke the law? What did she expect? What if she wanted to spend the rest of her life in jail? She did make a choice, after all. You sound like a liberal, Duchess.

It doesn’t matter how many times you spit the word Liberal at people joe it’s still going to represent the pinnacle of citizenship. It’s the opposite of Illiberal, if that helps.

Liberals are liberal with the law, I think that is a given. It appears that the duchess is questioning the law in thailand and not much into punishment for breaking a law.

Are we still talking about breaking a law? Singapore will throw you in jail, for dropping a gum wrapper on a street, the first thing a guide warns ou about when you step off the train. That is their law. Duchess, if a person does that, he knows he will be put in jail. Like, the woman who carved up the pregnant woman.....I think the penalty is death. Each country has its own laws. Libs think they might should not be followed? Duchess?
