For some reason (sarcasm intended), a woman regards her unwanted pregnancy as
more 'inconvenient' to her life than a man regards it as 'inconvenient' to his.

In many developing societies, forcing a woman--particularly a teenage girl (or younger)--to
continue her unwanted pregnancy until she gives birth imposes a serious risk of harm to her health.
The World Health Organization estimates that more than 300,000 women will die in 2016
of complications related to pregnancy or childbirth.

'Violating' is false. Does Sh76 believe it's illegal to perform an abortion aboard a Dutch ship in international waters?
It would be fair to say that Women on Waves may aim to *circumvent* local laws.
The moral argument is that women have a universal basic human right to choose an
abortion, at least of a pre-viab ...[text shortened]... that women be kept in their
'natural place' as 'child-bearing instruments', subordinate to men.
Do they do this around places like Saudi Arabia?

As I understand it, Women on Waves decides to sent a ship only after being invited by a local organization.
In 2012 Women on Waves sent a ship (invited by a pro-choice organization there) to Morocco.
Although the Moroccan authorities admitted that Women on Waves had not broken any laws,
the Moroccan authorities ordered the ship (escorted by warships) to leave Morocco immediately.

Many men here evidently object to women being allowed to have control over their own bodies.

No matter what risks are involved, many women and girls will continue to seek abortions.
Women on Waves aims to help these women and girls find safer methods of ending
their unwanted pregnancies than, say, by drinking bleach.

So bringing up a child only to have it starve to death slowly is better. Gotcha.

That's what's happening here in the US.

States do not provide free food allowances for the children of the poor. States don't have mother and child food programs. No free school lunches. No free school breakfasts!

I'm sure in Poland and the rest of Europe there are huge numbers of babies and young going without food.

I don't understand why this debate keeps coming around.
What the FFing hell is wrong with you yanks (and Poles)?

Even if a woman wants an abortion just for the kick of it (hardly likely though it is); it's her body. She can do with it what she wants.
There is no but here. It's her bloody body.

Even if you're retarded enough to think that an unborn faetus is a baby or a human being, it's part of her body and she can do what she wants.
Even if you, personally, disagree with her choice... Her bloody body, her bloody choice.

    There is no debate here.

A false analogy! People drive cars for transportation, themselves and other goods. Accidents are almost unavoidable.

Sexual intercourse has a basic purpose, procreation. Those who don't want to should use common and very effective contraception.

Careless fun ought not be a justification for taking life.

Why is suicide illegal in virtually all civilized nations?

It costs less to send a ship from the Netherlands to Morocco than to Saudi Arabia.

Another whopping falsehood by Normbenign. It's unclear what he means by 'civilized
nations', but Normbenign again pulls his ludicrous 'facts' out of his extreme ignorance.

In fact, suicide is generally *not* illegal in modern Western societies, and the ongoing trend
has been to decriminalize acts related to suicide, sometimes including suicide assisted by a doctor.
