I'm sorry to say it but how right he is, so I thought we could discuss the origins of words of a language we didn't invent but adopted, if only to see the gulf that exists of the original meaning to that of the generally accepted meaning of today.


Heresy: Greek hairesis; "choose", choice of belief.

Lucifer: Latin;(lux, light) (ferre; bearer) light bearer, bringer of light.
Greek; Heosphoros; 'Morning Star' literally "Bringer of the Dawn.

If theres any Latin, Greek, experts out there I'm sure you could enlighten us further.
