If this one, often quoted, incident seems to being used by Christians to claim that they face worldwide persecusion.
Whereas Christians control most of the western worlds wealth and therefore they hold the power.
It seems that we are a very ignorant people indeed. It sounds to me as though some of you find persecuting Christians even to the extent of murder is fine, but the taunting and teasing of homosexuals is a sin. I do not deny that it is wrong and that homosexuals have been murdered and massacared before. But how is one greater than the other? We need to open our eyes and see the bigger picture. It's a two-edged sword my friends and we're each holding one side.

Homosexuals are a persecuted minority. Christians, despite their inherant martyr complex, are not. Heterosexuals are not being discriminated against when they are forced to stop discriminating against homosexuals. If the rights of homosexuals were universally recognized, then they wouldn't need a day to bring attention to their plight. It would be a non-iss ...[text shortened]... it off the air should be counted as a blessing to humanity.
