I just want to thank the rest of the world for helping the US defeat the Japanese during WWII. Britian delcared war on them and the Russians declared war on them (only after they were weeks away from surrender since they couldn't push them out of Manchuria by themselves).
I just wanted to remind the American bashers about how much their countries helped us in WWII with the Japanese.
Note: I'm using Britian as a reference to the UK so I didn't forget the Austrilians and how they helped.

"Europe's War" was how you yanks called it until the Japanese attacked you, so ease up on complaining about how much support you got. Works both ways.
Originally posted by uzlessWhat are you talking about? The US "remained neutral" by sending supplies to the English.

Congress cannot allow the President to declare war unless provoked or war was declared. The Constitution stood in the way of declaring war not the President or Congress.
So we didn't ignore your pleas and if Germany wouldn't have declared war on us, Europe would all be speaking German. I'm just so glad you guys were there to help us island hope. Besides you had a war on one front not two. Hell Germany had a war on two fronts and they did a hell of alot better than western Europe.

You really need to read the US Constitution.
Granted it doesn't state specifically that war can only be declared in the case of an attack. What do I need to read about it?

American bashers
In truth, in these times, true patriots are terribly uncomfortable with America's current role in the world, and we are critical at every turn. Attacking the self-destructive policies of the Bush regime is not "American bashing," but often is pro-American. Bush stands for the destruction of America's highest ideals.

What's that got to do with anything ?
Are you somehow trying to justify this ?

ermmmm....Austrilia (sic) is not part of Britian (sic).
You really are very SlapDash.

This statement is manifestly incorrect.
Originally posted by WulebgrI should have phrased that as foreign American bashers. If you live here and are a citizen, you have every right to express your opinion about politics. As far as foreigners go, don't complain about American policy on here . Try and go through your elected (or unelected depending on where you are from) officials. If enough countries say, enough is enough, then policies should change.

This really is off topic. I just used that spark anger 😛

Besides, I didn't forget New Zealand. I was referring to the continent of Australia, hence Australians, like how people in France are known as Europeans.
Originally posted by no1marauderI never said it was correct either. How can a piece of paper stand?
