Debates

1 edit

Y'all, your people, your legislators, your lawyers....you just do not know what to do. Just yesterday, a judge (Tanya Chutkan) ruled in favor of Trump with his DOGE efforts. SHE was the judge in one of his prosecutions/persecutions. She is telling him he has free rein.

So, step back a minute. Judges and learned commentators and legislators all agree with allowing DOGE to go through with their plans. They disagree with all the liberal debaters here on the FORUM. Please sink it in, to get on a nice debate track instead of constant rehash??

And this: As citizens you probably all agree to cut waste, fraud and abuse. So, our newly elected president has begun that , 2 weeks into his presidency.
...........................And you think that he should NOT do exactly that??? What is not right with this picture?
The ONLY discontent I have seen so far is that you want government to 'guarantee' (?) jobs. As Marauder would agree, it says nothing about that in the constitution.

So if ms. Chutkan has ruled in favour of Trump in a case that is just to show that the judge is up to her role.
I doubt that she gae "free rein" to Trump. That would not be her role.
And she might rule againts him next time.

It would be a horror scenario if a judge would always rule in favour for someone...

It would have been your task but I relive you:

Decision: https://s3.documentcloud.org/documents/25538512/ruling-in-doge-case.pdf

...and you have probably read this in depth and thought about it before crowing here, please comment how:

To show irreparable harm, the “injury alleged must be ‘both certain and great, actual and not theoretical, beyond remediation, and of such imminence that there is a clear and present need for equitable relief.’” Church v. Biden, 573 F. Supp. 3d 118, 138 (D.D.C. 2021) (quoting Mexichem Specialty Resins, Inc. v. EPA, 787 F.3d 544, 555 (D.C. Cir. 2015)). The “‘possibility of irreparable harm’ is not enough.” Id. (quoting Winter v. Nat. Res. Def. Council, Inc., 555 U.S. 7, 22 (2008)).

is the same as "free rein"?

So far, Trump's administration is getting mostly losses in court rulings.https://www.nbcnews.com/politics/donald-trump/trump-losing-court-boring-reason-adminitrative-procedure-act-rcna191113

Oh. OK everyone marauder is saying that so far there have been no wins in the way of waste fraud and abuse. That is what he is saying, but he will not come right out and say it.

You liberals are floundering. You are flat on your backs. No leaders, no plans, no nothing. Pitiful. We are about to not feel sorry for you anymore.
