Now, don’t worry about the topic Seth’s on about (this isn’t the point of this debate).
But note, that the US president writes and speaks the word “bull&€^@“ numerous times, but that the TV channel has to bleep it (or at least make sure the faecal part of it can’t be heard).
How is this possible?
Surely you can’t bleep out the words of a nation’s leader. The president is saying something so offensive, our ears have to be protected from it?
Does this mean that the president is holding speeches which can’t be listened to in the classroom? What insanity is this?
If a president (or any nation’s leader) uses a word on twitter, in writing or during a public speech, doesn’t that mean the word is no longer on the “banned” list?
As someone who thinks profanity is okay (within context or used to accentuate a point), I obviously don’t mind trump’s use of bull💩 on the public stage (he’s using it, from his point of view, correctly).
And, equally obviously, I find it grating that I can’t use it on this forum when discussing the subject of it in a linguistical context.
- what does bleeping out the word 💩 mean for society, when the president publically uses it?
- should it now be considered an “okay” phrase?
- does anyone really think that banning words has any point?
- does anyone really think that the Anglo-Saxon word for poop is damaging to children’s ears & eyes?
- what happens to society if RHP unbans the word and folk start using it?
I am genuinely interested in your opinions on this matter. Thanks for the input.
@anderssen saidSo, you have no opinion on the matter then?
A day in the life of shav...
"Well look at my lame Scottish politicians...
A bunch of haggus eating lames who don't even have a real country...
I'll show them!
I'll put on my extra tight kilt (skirt)
and I'll trash talk the greatest country in the world!
That'll show em...I'm shav 👳🧕
Thanks for joining in...
@anderssen saidThat’s brilliant!
I was at the hardware store and an employee felt the need to tell me he used to be a dude and now he's a chick who goes by the name Shyla...
If that's the world we live in then I don't care what language the president used because obviously we lost track a long time ago.
See how colourful life is?
You didn’t wake up that morning expecting that to happen!
@shavixmir saidI personally don't find anything Trump does to be "okay". But then, I'm not ethically challenged.

@anderssen saidNo, YOU "lost track" a long time ago.

Stop projecting.
@handyandy saidThe flop part doesn’t really convey the proper sentiment.

Sir - America has a President that is little more than a potty mouthed, 7 year old playground bully in an old man's body. Don't overthink this situation, we have term limits here. Like a bad case of diarrhea, this idiot will pass.
