Please get rid of this error safe ad. When it pops up I can't get rid of it while on RHP.

It's part of the price you pay for being a non sub, it seems. 😞

As a non sub, I never had problems with pop ups at all, I don't have my pop up blocker on either. The only add difference I see as sub, there is no add at the side, or at the top of the page.

I have a non sub buddy that said he has had pop ups here before, and they seemed to "mess" with him.

I am sure that this is not a consideration Russ has made.

As a non sub, I'd like to say that I have experienced no serious problems with aggressive adverts on this site. Perhaps those involved need a good system clean out?

I agree.
The ads don't worry me either. 😉

This ErrorSafe ad is starting to really piss me off.

I think the ads are targeted geographically, so only some people may experience this issue. Nevertheless, I have now removed the Casale ads from the rotation, and written them an email explaining that we will no longer serve their ads unless they remove this ad and can convince me this situation will not arise again.

So if you see this ad now (well, from 9:30am GMT) then please let me know.

Anyone seen this today?

Ad network promises me they are not serving it, but the evidence suggests otherwise.

And if no one has seen the ad today, that will just confirm they are the source.

I've seen the DriveCleaner ad today. Here's the html snippets:

/ads/burst_728x90.html

/ads/casale_120x600.html

I have saved the whole html page and can send it to you if desired, just drop me a private message here.

What's annoying about it, is the JavaScript popup window and the .exe file behind the banner in the top. Expecially for users not experienced with web threats and web techniques (fortunately I am).

Thanks for the update.

I have just dropped an ad network, but would appreciate any further updates? Anyone else?

I was seeing the ad this morning at home. I have not seen it in work yet. I thought it was spyware, kept coming back when I closed it.

There was a very annoying ad forwarding me to this site, without me even clicking on it:

http://diskretter.com/kontroller/index.php?59020-d5f16-41014-75611-55566-a0001-6b540-36f58-500a1-5580f-5e0e0-e0300-16595-75e55-440d4-30c03-03444-75808-55425-75d5b-01

I can't go back now, so I can't give you the exact source code fragment, but it's most definitely spyware or even a virus...
