"The Cowboys haven't lived up to their Doomsday lll billing, but the pieces are in place to be a productive defensive unit." that was from the paper today, by some dude named Mac Engel. why is it always about how the cowboys have a potentially great defense? what about the good offensive line, julius jones running threat, terry glenn, t.o., and crayton AND jason witten!!!; that is potentially a running and passing threat, it seems all we're missing is a qb to get it to the recievers to mix up the run and the pass. maybe its time to give Romo a chance, im sure he can do just as good, Bledsoe is old, why not have a new qb who can do it just as good so he can gain experience and hopefully get even better next year?
The Dallas Defense is a long way from being the defence of old. The paper was right. They are still pretty good. Those guys years ago would score as many points as the offensive guys. And the offense were ball hogs that would score on nearly every drive and burn up a lot of clock doing it, but if they didn't score or the special teams didn't, it wouldn't take the Dallas defense long to put it back in their hands. These guys don't even compare. But the way the NFL is today, the Cowboys are still pretty good just not good enough for a Championship. That's my opinion, and there is no bigger Cowboy fan than myself.
