I tell everyone that I'm in an international prose competition - which is right I think. After all Silverstreaker is British. Don't know where all the entrees come from. Anyway - I'm probably more a legend in my own mind than anything else!

I never wrote anything until Silverstriker announced this contest a couple of years back. I read a lot however so something must be bouncing around in my head. Mostly they come from what I see around me or at least part of them come from what I see. Take that part and then make up a story around it that only needs 750 words (that's the hardest part!).

Last year was my first time, so at least I'm no longer a Prose Competition 'virgin'.
