just found a few other interesting (ish) facts about today:
today is the 252nd day of the year, 252 adds to 9
Wednesday & September both have 9 letters
really is a day for 9's

But the 162nd, 171st, 180th, 207th, 216th, 225th, 234th, 243rd, 315th day...well yes you get the point....
I can't deny none of the other months have 9 letters though.
It wont happen again until 10.10 on 10th October 2010. I'll be more prepared next time 🙂

That day (12-21-2012) is the last day of the Mayan calendar because it is the last day of a galactic cycle whereon the sun crosses the galactic plane. Nothing more, nothing less. One could also say it's the first day of the Mayan calendar.

At least it's an easy one to remember, hehe (12-21), but not as easy as mine (11-11). They say it's rough having a birthday so close to Christmas, though. "Here, this can be a combo birthday/xmas present!" 😞
