Ben Franklin definitely belongs on the list of the 10 greatest Americans--possibly at the top.
I really don't get all the JFK worship though. I doubt he'd make it in my top 100.
A lot of this depends on how you define greatness. I notice that not many musicians, athletes, authors or artists made the list. I'd probably drop several politicians and add a few more of those.
