Either yesterday, today or tomorrow is my tenth year anniversary here.
(It depends on where you look. Data is different on my forum info, profile info, and the date when I started my first game, which was game no. 18.)

The site has come a long way since I first stumbled upon it ten years ago! I'm looking forward to ten more.
Well I am user 393 and mwmiller was one of my first opponents all those years ago. I'd love to know how many active users there are in the 16 to 393 range. Russ?

Great site, great memories!

I've gone number by number from 393 to:

http://www.timeforchess.com/profile/playerprofile.php?uid=199

Lots of dead numbers with no name attached, all the rest have not moved in about 3,000 days.

I'd keep going, but I kind of feel like I'm searching for survivors in a plane wreck and many of the seats are empty and everyone I find is dead.

Well I have gone from 16 to 100 and only found one player who has moved in the last year. Like you lets of dead numbers.

Maybe miller and rhymester have eaten all the other players over the last 10 year to survive!

Well I have been here going on 8 years now, found RHP at work actually🙂
So is it possible to find the very first full game played after the site was baptized?

Also, where do you find your user number? I didn't see any ref to it in my profile.

Your user ID number is in your URL when you click on your name. So in your case:

http://www.redhotpawn.com/profile/playerprofile.php?uid=122889

user number = 122889

Ah, just wondered🙂

Found another way to view your user number: Right click on your handle, Sonhouse in my case, click on elements and the html code appears at the bottom and you can scroll down to find the user number directly there. The only thing I don't see right now is how to safely back out of that without screwing stuff up. I can only do it by exiting RHP and re-entering.

Sonhouse, you're making it too difficult. Just click my name here in the thread, or your own name. Those last digits in the url are our numbers.

Cripes, I just hover over my name and the bottom left of Chrome shows the number.
