Ya, got distracted by his hair and lost interest in his thread. 🙂

don't forget about me and my race to 11,000

It's too much.

I was going to say it's too little, but I thought maybe I should ask you first what's too much?

I don't know lemon. Seems like if I post in a competing thread of the same purpose that I'm just working against myself. It's like doubling the task. It makes me feel double minded. Like tearing myself in two. It's schizophrenic.

Alright! Maybe I'm exaggerating a little. 😉

One pointless counting thread is enough, given the number of participants and the enormity of the task.

I feel challenged!

I don't think that came out right. 😉

I think we should invite lemondrop to dump his own thread and join our team.

I'd be willing to listen to any argument he puts forth convincing us we should join his. If he could come up with a compelling reason. Like maybe he'd contribute to his own thread. Not like FMF hasn't.

I think we've been abandoned. 😉

Maybe we should kick the pair of them and start our own thread.

11,000 seem very ambitious...

(seem or seems, can't make up my mind which is correct)

I think it's seems because seem after 11,000 doesn't have a grammatical ring to it.

I mean, I would say, "11,000 posts seems ambitious", but "11,000 posts seem ambitious" doesn't sound right.

I'm sure there's a grammatical rule for it. I don't know what it is.

I think we own this thread by now. 😉

Or we can start a new thread and title it "The 999 Meaningless Posts Thread". More achievable and truer to form. 😉

Thank you, '11,000 posts seems...' was my first choice, then I changed it because of the plural form, and then I really couldn't tell. Thanks 🙂
