But this kid apparently had no choice, at least the way you made it sound! It's like your saying it should be ok because most 16 year old boys would like, and for those that don't oh well, your problem.

It's not about how old the kid was, it's about the position of the adults. They can't misuse their position like that.

Because of the nature of the relationships, he was not able to give consent because he was not in a position to deny consent. It's abuse, plain and simple. I vote for jail time.
