20 questions game - rock/pop

here's the idea: i'm thinking of a rock/pop performer (individual or band). collectively you can ask 20 questions about that performer in an effort to discover his/her/their identity. the questions must be able to be answered with a yes or no. eg. is it a band?, is it an American performer?
a limit on obscurity: the performer must be catalogued by Amazon.com - anyone else is too obscure to qualify. the first person to correctly guess then gets to choose a new performer...
