2024 predictions new start

Dear all,
after it is hard to find the predictions in the earlier thread I will now post what I colected as predictions for 2024.
If yours miss, you can add them again (FMF and Ghost, please rfrain from redoing the discussion from the old thread).

Ponderable:
* A new Pope
* Trump will be convicted...and will still be the GOP presidential candidate
* Mike Johnson will lose his gavel before the elections.

Moonbus:
Another Rolling Stone will bite the dust.

The Gravedigger:
* Sleepy Joe will not be re-elected.
* Zelensky will flee Ukraine (having stashed away billions of $$$) and be given sanctuary by a rogue country.
* China will suffer a major market crash.

Ghost of a Duke:
* England will win the Euros.
* I predict the return of Robbie.

FMF
* Nikky Haley will win the U.S. presidential election by a comfortable margin.
* France will win the Euros.
* Labour will beat the Conservatives in the U.K. general election but not by a particularly wide margin.
* Prabowo will win the 2024 Indonesian general election. Not a good thing.
* Suzanne Jambo will win the 2024 South Sudanese general election.
* Donald Trump will start posting on Twitter again once he becomes the Republican candidate for November 2024.
* Arsenal win the EPL

Happy chappy:
Netanyahu assassination during war crime trial.

Drewnogal:
Lots more people will be paying for private health treatment in the UK.

Divegester:
* Erik ten Hag will be sacked as manager of Manchester United before the end of the 23/24 season.
* Mauricio Pochettino will be sacked as manager of Chelsea before the end of the 23/24 season.
* Manchester City will win the EPL.
* Gareth Southgate will refuse to step down as England manager
* after again failing to win in the final stages of the Euros; this time in the semi final and again due to his poor judgment of end game situations and subsequent duff substitutions.
* Labour will win the General Election by a much narrower victory than the current polls suggest. This will be due to Keir Starmer’s inability to convince enough floating voters that either a) he actually stands behind any coherent manifesto polices, and/or b) what policies he does stand behind are insufficiently differentiated from the Conservatives.
* Boris Johnson will not stand as a candidate for the (Conservative safe-seat) Wantage constituency; in which he now lives in a recently acquired £3.8 million 16th century grade ll listed mansion in Brightwell-cum-Sotwell near Oxford.
* Liz Trust will attempt a comeback in some way after the Conservatives lose power and there is a Tory struggle for leadership.
* Russ will launch a new-look RHP facia and chess interface in the spring which will bring a host of improved and new features to the site.
* The forums will be spruced up but unfortunately the hackneyed, infantile and multiple-account abused thumbing feature will remain. Other social features of the site such as the voting protocol will continue to remain obsolete for the same reason.
* The subscription price will remain the same for 2024.
* The core base of forum contributors will remain largely unchanged; including @Suzianne, who will not announce her RHP resignation as she did in late 2022. She will however remain outraged and extremely upset most of the time about most things.
* @A-Unique-Username will retrieve his username @Trev33 from where he’s had it stashed during 2023.
*@badradger will catastrophically fail to keep the lid on his rage in his current vanilla profile of @David-Burton, and for the third time (at least ) be banned from the site.
* @Executioner-Brand will return another 8 times totalling 36 member days. He will be recognised by his trademark posting about: Muslims and interchangeably, peodos, online gambling, what he’s listening to, growing his own weed, weaponising his own alleged mental health issues and complaining about how bad the forums are.
* @KellyJay will continue to troll @moonbus and @Ghost-of-a-Duke in the Spirituality forum using the words “mindlessness” “cause” “chemicals” “scripture” “justified” “evil” “hate” “liar” and “deceiver” a collective total of 18,575 times.
* In the build up to the US election the debates forum will be once again be temporarily closed down when a custard pie fight gets completely out of hand. @Shavixmir will burst a blood vessel in his forehead if Trump gets elected.
* @FMF and @divegeester will undergo digital separation using an AI surgeon called STANA (Separating Twins - Abiogenesis - Necromancy - Alerts). Spoiler alert: One of us will die in the procedure @Suzianne will will be triggered by STANA being an anagram of SATAN.
* A new era of peace and harmony will prevail for a few days in the spring.

War in the Middle-East widens.

Rangers and Celtic will merge as one team.
The Liberals will be lead by a new leader, dropping Justin before the 2025 federal election.
Stees’ marathon chess match with A Unique Nickname will continue on into, who knows when.
