...one of these every day, what is it?
So goes the Impossible Question competition on the local radio station that gets played in the office where I work. Now if someone would be so good as to post the answer then I'd be jolly grateful and all that. And potentially £1,100 (and rising) better off.
Every hour on the hour somebody calls up to guess. The answers (all wrong) that have been given so far are (the ones at the top are the most recent guesses):
Waxing Kit
Razor blade
Ear, nose and beard hair trimmer
Ladies' shaver
Electric shaver
PC (computer)
Razor
Radio
Pen
A deodorant
Television
Review on Google.com
Left hand
Pushbike
Mirror
Electric Toothbrush
Pair of glasses (spectacles)
Chopsticks
Microsoft on the internet
Computers
Work Mobile Phones
After 'razor' was suggested the presenter said that it was the closest guess so far (hence the subsequent guesses of 'razor blade' etc).
Apparantly the answer is located on some web site somewhere. But after spending quite some time searching I, and my colleagues, are no nearer the answer.
So, what gets used by 40% of the worldwide population every day?
PS: Quite what the person who said Left hand was thinking I'm not sure...

The person guessed "Left hand" - in other words guessed that 40%('and no more' I suppose it goes without saying) of people use their left hand every day. I'd wager that approx. 99%+ of the world's population use their left hand on a daily basis.
One of my buddies at work is adamant the answer is 'a knife'. Although far from sure, I think 'a flush toilet' may not be a bad guess.
Originally posted by T1000I like knife too. Tableknife or otherwise, and its similar to razor.

I would suggest a car of some form at irst thought, although this might be higher thinking about it, and is not close to a razor in anyway.
Definately not a flushing toilet, I have been to a lot of the developing world countries and their toilets, outside western hotels, do not flush, particually not "squatties"!!!
