Why would he do that? They didn't solve the riddle.

If you have a correct answer, then award the person who gave it to you.

Otherwise say there's no correct answer yet and re-open it for further answers.

I'm not going through the trouble of doing a logic problem (which I suck horribly at, yet can do it if I'm pressed) if there is a correct answer already.

Nothing in your initial ground rules limited the number of comments players could make while weighing
the clues. My comments were about the Einstein connection and the accuracy of the riddle, not solutions.

The first and only solution offered by me was, "The German owns the fish." Actually, we don't know if it
is a fish, only that it is not cat, dog, bird or horse. Where are the 8 points you cheated me out of?

    1. A murderer is condemned to death. He has to choose between three rooms. The first is full of raging fires; the second is full of assassins with loaded guns; and the third is full of lions that haven't eaten in 3 years. Which room is safest for him?"

One point for ChessPraxis; Saturday's Riddle will be worth two....

Precedent's set by our first riddle: correct solution in the first post receives the point or points. Same will apply to Riddle #9.

orangutan, you may enjoy Riddle #9. Why? Because it involves options and because the riddles are silly/humorous.
