@very-rusty saidYes, doing good for others keeps us going. Karma, you know.
You know if you do something nice for one person every day, it will make you feel good all the time!
-VR
@torunn saidYes, but make it a point to do something good for someone once a day.
Yes, doing good for others keeps us going. , you know.
Many use the word Karma without fully understanding it.
According to karma, what you have done, you become.
If you stole, others will steal from you in following lives. If you nourished, you will be nourished. Your actions throughout your various lifetimes become the circumstances of your being, so do your best to live this life authentically and truthfully.
Of course this is not believed by everyone. Most believe we only through this life one time.

@kewpie saidKewpie, I heard today that voting age in Australia is 16. Is this true?

@very-rusty saidI would be very happy to know that all will be well after the election.
One thing that would make me happy when ever we find out is that Biden is new President elect. This could take days some say weeks. Can the country & the world handle 4 more years of TRUMP?
-VR
@torunn saidYes, going to be interesting to see for sure, well neither of us will have to be overly concerned what the people in the streets do in the U.S.A., only who the the President winds up being concerns the whole world.

@kewpie saidAh, ok. I'm not against it, as I think it would raise social awareness of voting, but Australians probably don't need that. 18 does seem best for most everything.
No. There is a Greens bill floating around in the parliamentary system but it hasn't been passed or even debated. It doesn't have broad support.
We do almost everything at age 18 now.
In America, the last thing we need is more immature voters. Most Americans aren't ready to make their own decisions at 16. Some are, yes, but very few.
