This thread is for making earnest but arguably outlandish claims about your abilities.

My forum antennae tell me that this thread is no such thing.

My influence on the world around me is borderline telekinetic.

First of all: I am most probably not able to land any plane.

Then: I watched some films in the 80's where some radnom guy was talked down with Jets, that were probably more complicated to fly, without all the electronic support. So some might be inclined to think that it was easy.

And doing a computer simulation is not the same, than doing the real thing.

Any job that requires hands on can be learned in 3 months.
Negating any need for years of schooling.

I have done many first aid courses over the years. Therefore I think I could carry out a minor surgical operation. Something like an appendectomy to start with. Then moving onto replacing hips and liver transplants etc.

It took the Republicans a LONG time to get about 10% of their reps to vote in a Speaker of the house.

It is almost like they have two Republican parties in the same party. 🙂

Yes, that is probably an even better reason!

It's not much of a claim - I'm pretty sure that just about everyone could land a passenger jet.
It would be much harder to keep the thing in the air.

Mythbusters showed that
- if you have an experienced pilot talking you through the landing from the tower, it's possible in principle, but very tricky;
- if the plane has an auto-land feature (apparently many of the modern ones do, which surprised me) and external circumstances are ideal, you may not even have to lift a finger, except to trigger that feature.

i can draw the blueprints
and fabricate the metal
plumb the hydraulics, and add the wiring
then fly the thing to mars
