We are having our 5th Storm of the year.

Already 29,000 without power.

Odds are high we will lose ours.

I know I will be sadly missed. πŸ™‚ πŸ˜›

This one is going to be mainly rain, sleet, hail, freezing rain so all that attaches to the wires and you have wires snapping. Looks like it is going to go into tomorrow. Last time I thought we would lose it we didn't. Where 29, 000 have already lost it I believe we will too. Now there saying to keep off the roads. Just as well, our gas went up to 1.52 per liter and it could go as high as 1.80 or higher they are claiming. That will be tough on many people I am sure.

It's about an inch of ice, then about 6 inches snow. I had all but the ice cleared, now the steps are 80% cleared.

Great, You don't want to fall and break something. I took a spill the other day on ice with a tray of coffee's I lost one fell on my knees on the ice and heard the ice crack. I thought I had broken something but was ok, just two skinned knees, elbow hurt and both my hands, but nothing overly serious.

You should be able to make one of those with a propane tank, diff regulator, long hose, guts out of an old propane heater and move it around😁.

Yeah, Texas' conservacapitalist libertarian electricity grid is doing just fine...

By the way, where did Ted Cruz fly this year?

Only one below freezing? In Nova Scotia? That's a balmy spring, surely! I expect it to freeze for at least one day in March in the Netherlands.

We are going -13 for the next few days. My van is a glare of ice, it is starting to snow now.

My windows are so iced up and I could only open two doors. It can stay that way today!

We had 29 hours straight of freezing rain, never even attempted trying to clean the Van of ice. We also have 100,000 Households without power last night we had 29,000 without power. I was sure we would lose ours to, but as yet haven't lost it.

I am thinking of going out and tackling the ice on the windows. Hopefully the sun will help some as it is out to day. What a mess out there. Lucky for us we never lost our power.
