She's the Queen of the UK and I'm a brit, so I suppose that's technically accurate, but I don't like to think of her as 'my' Queen.

And hats look ok on ladies and cowboys, but nobody else. Well, maybe soliders too.

Big difference between you and Her Majesty is that only person on record for taking Queen.

UK would be Iceland without her.

Yes I initially assumed you meant Prince Philip, but since I've never seen him in a hat I thought you must be speaking laterally.

edit - I tell a lie, I did see him in a hat once when he was out shooting. He looked ridiculous.

When they come to Canada he is dressed in uniform wearing the uniform hat & looks very distinguished.

I am a self-confessed hater of hats. Particularly baseball caps. I guess they have to wear 'em if it's part of the uniform though.
