A Fool's Mission

Any individual or collecective crusade bent on changing the minds, behavior, values, beliefs or personalities of other people. Only person

any of us can change is ourselves. That process is still recognized as growing up and attaining emotional, intellectual and spiritual maturity.

Those who reject this stern principle are the same ones spinning their wheels while riding around the countryside flailing at scary windmills.

But if one's self-change is spectacular enough, other people will notice and inquire as to the reason. It therefore has the capacity to change not only your life, but countless others as well.

Leading by example is one manifestation of it.

I'm sure you must have noticed the inherent contradiction in the message of GB's post and his educational stance in these forums. Inconsistency? Not really.

Bait.

Bait, maybe, in the benign sense of taking aggressive initiatives to engage others within my RHP Family

in conversation. The desire to do so is pretty much native to the grain. Behave similarly off this screen.

But aren't we constantly changed via interaction with other people who can have influence on us with their thoughts, emotions or idea(l)s ?
Sometimes in a good way, sometimes in a bad though.

You, my online friend, are a mystery. I still have no idea where you're coming from with your posts.

You could be anything from a double-account, to an elaborate troll or, hopefully, just a guy with good intentions that maybe misunderstands some of us.

In my book, that's a good thing. Kudos!

Absolutely, Suzianne. By example as well as by being prepared to provide accurate information to anybody whose

interest is apparent and who is predisposed to listen... the opposite of presuming to coerce someone's will.

Yes, Ivan, of course. What you describe is an indirect and incidental dynamic, as with wearing a wool sweater

while walking through the woods and coming home with a few burrs. No burr advocate pinned them on you.

"Just a guy", Palynka, who appreciates your occasional approval and disapproval smileys...

and who would thoroughly enjoy meeting up with you someday (and raising some hell).
