A guy is racing his friend down the highway in a 20 mile race, he is way out in front, when alla the sudden a police man whirs up behind him....
The racer pulls over and is thinking furiously as the cop starts to come over to the car of an excuse, he gets one...
The cop comes up and has this conversation
"Do you know how fast you were going?"
"no sir, i was too busy watching out for you"!
"Do you have ur license and registration?"
" My license got taken away for speeding too many times, and getting caught driving under the influence."
"hm...ok then, well do you have your registration?"
"i have the registration of the dead guys in the trunk who is the owner to this car"
The cop trying to act calm walks back to the cruiser and radios for backup, pronto.
2-3 minutes later his backup arrives, and the cop explains
THis guy has stolen his car, killed a man who is stashed in the trunk, got his licsense prevoked, and is probly under the influence.
The 3 cops now walk up to the car again, and ask
"Can we see ur licsense or registration?"
"why sure officers" (he shows them both, both are legal)
" and um have u been drinking sir?"
"no" (his breath and eyes are clean)
The cops now go around and check the trunk, nothing in there but sports gear. "I thought u said he was drunk,a killer, and a car stealer?
The driver then says, " Ill betcha he told u i was speeding to!"
