Black? Do you drink it by itself? My husband always has to eat a goodie along with it. Once in awhile I go off caffeine for one reason or another. What I miss most is the camaraderie of having a cup of coffee with someone. The last two mornings, however, I go get myself a cup of java, head back to bed, and write in my journal, etc. My cat falls asleep beside me, and I think it is a grand way to start the day.

Urban dictionary:
Joe: Coffee! Generally an affectionate term used by coffee lovers.

Sorry, hadn't heard it before, had to go look it up. 😞

it isn't too much until you shaking slightly, get sweaty palms, and are unable to concentrate.

Strange. When I think Joe, I see before me a big, muscular man and the
only drinkable substance he can produce is either...

😕

...let's just say it fails me the lure of a Joe.

I usually have freshly ground Lavazza beans. I think the taste that I llike is from mild/medium roasted beans. I know lots of people like the dark roast. If you can get it try roasting your own beans. Do a slow mild roast for a really unique taste.

One of my favourite quotes, but I forget who said it:

"If this is coffee, please bring me some tea; if this is tea. please bring me some coffee."

I love Irish coffee.

Try some Kona coffee fron Hawaii..it's smooth dronking and better than anything out there, especially the macadamia blend.

I will not find that at Tim Hortons will I? 😉

I ever get the chance I will certainly try it. I start my day off with a coffee, well after I have had breakfast, the most important meal of the day.
