I would also ask that THE REST OF US allow Dave and Gil to work
things out in privacy and in peace, and hold our tongues (or fingers
off the keyboards, as the case may be).
The toughest part of coming back from a weekend away and seeing
this was watching the web of attacks and recriminations spread out
and start to engulf many folks I've grown to care about here. Quite a
few posts here, I've wanted to jump in and add my piece, but to what
purpose besides fanning the flames?
Dang, I'm so stunned, I can't even think of a single smartass thing to
say. And for the folks who know me, that takes quite a shock.
