Flippin' Nora this guy has taken so long to write the next installment I've forgotten about 90% of the story in the previous 5 tomes. Can anyone recoup in, say, a couple of sentences? Fantastic series!

I stopped reading as I fully expect the guy to die before finishing the series. I don't think the books really can exist as stand alone entities, ie: There is no satisfactory conclusion at the end of each book.
