No mob mentality...just a series of lethal injections if one believes in the death penalty, which I don't. That said, I do believe child molestors are incureable (would you want to take a chance with one living next door to you and your children?) and should do 25 to life....no early outs. The ones that survive should have satellite monitoring 24/7 ...[text shortened]... s.....give 'em meds and put them on the Island....guarded by who else?....the Coast Guard 😉
recognizable if they escape. Maybe do like Kafka, tatoo their
crime on their forehead so if they ever DO escape, you can tell.
Of course Kafka took it a bit further....

Given the renowned brilliant US justice system, I wonder how many of them are actually innocent.
Or is that just the TV programs I'm thinking of?
revealing that guy not to have the DNA of what was found in the
victim.

kill them, then the next lowest life-form. then the next and so on. as sick as some of the people you are talking about are, don't forget to take the time to realise how sick you are also... this may make you next ?

I have one that lives 0.02 miles away. Whats really bad is that I have seen this child molesting ahole hanging around the 7/11 conveniance store. Well if he comes 0.02 miles closer and around my grandkids he'll get a .45 lobodomy.
The problem today is not that those convicted sexual abusers are living blocks away from their favourite prey. The problem is that they're not given a chance to change. What happens to a convicted sexual abuser?
1) They're sentenced to a prison. The best place in the world if you want to hone your skills in whatever criminal profession you have.
2) Then they're released back into society with new lessons learned and ready to fall back into their old routines.
(In Sweden a few years back a whole network of pedophiles were uncovered by the police. They had discussion forums on private Internet sites where they could share experiences and let each other know different successful techniques of luring children into their traps. They had all met in prison. Pfuiii...)
That's stupid. It's like you're actually paying (taxes) to make sure the criminals can improve their skills.
I also think that's why you fear those sexual abusers so much. You know that if they've been convicted and then released they're probably even worse than they were when they were sentenced (they've been to criminal school and learned from their own kind).
Instead of having prisons like that, how about putting criminals in separate rehabilitation homes? There the criminals (no matter what their crime) can't have contact with like-minded and they will have a chance to change their ways with the help of positive influence from a good (but not wimpy) surrounding.
In any case, they won't cost society a whole lot since they will have to work for society, and they won't be able to make contact with other pedophiles and what else, and they won't be able to commit the crimes a new.
Just a suggestion.

I'd generally agree with you, but I'm willing to make an exception for people who hurt children. In that case a bit more mob mentality sounds like an excellent idea.
also, 9/10 rapists are part of the family or a friend. I don't remember what the ratio was on childmolesters, but it was something similar.
and as a wise old fictional character once said: "fear leads to anger, anger leads to hate, hate leads to suffering." -the only thing more dangerous than a frightened human is a mob of frightened people.
(and clearly what u.s. needs most is even more angry frightened people running around with guns and lynching ropes.)
