Doo wops and Hooligans by Bruno Mars is one of the best albums i've heard in years.
Grenade is an awesome track but if anyone's interested there's an acoustic version which sounds even better.
He is a truly awesome vocal talent and a very gifted songwriter as well.
Check this out.

Compare that to Rhianna 'boy boy can you get it up' and the like. Some of the so-called acts that appear on SNL are singing so badly you can't understand a word they are saying and the only thing to do is fast forward to the end of their self congratulatory conclusion.
Besides that, usually the sound engineer on SNL needs to have his butt whipped for the awful sound he ends up with, vocals the same level as the backup instruments, or drums way too loud, etc.

Originally posted by SuzianneWhen I said that, I was told it was because I am old. I am also told I play music too loud in the car and shouldn't sing along with it. But it's rock music and has to be played loud whilst driving, and joining in is mandatory for certain tracks - especially when it has a chorus! 😀
