Here's the number of active threads in retrospect during the past week as of today. What a difference from a year ago.

"Here's the number of active threads in retrospect during the past week as of today." (OP) As Ponderable recently noted, active threads have exceeded the thirty thread capacity of page one. Of course "there was more than one thread posted in on Wednesday last week" and all but one continued active the next day and the next day as indicated by the dates of last activity. The residual number of inactive threads prior to the last few days is incredibly small. Thanks for your concern.

Note: On any given past week the first six days' threads are presently napping or sleeping; the seventh day current page one threads are awake with both eyes open looking for business; Coroner Ponderable determines the date of the eventual death of all General Forum threads. Russ has placed small low wattage lamps on pages 2-3 as a matter of hospitality; on page 4 and beyond he replaces these lamps with wall outlet plug in night lights so that Coroner Ponderable will be able to see any sleeping threads worth resuscitating.
