Yes, death is on the "sad things" list generally, but is it really so much sadder that Michael Jackson or Farrah Fawcett died than the 9-year-old who was killed because she was home when people went to kill her father for selling pot? I never thought his mu ...[text shortened]... o get a bag of marshmallows so I'll have something to do whilst I'm burning in hell.
yeah, i have to say i was more affected by the recent case of a truck driver who was killed by a stray bullet fired in a confrontation he had nothing to do with and wouldn't have even been aware of. just happened to be in the exact wrong place at the exact wrong instant, driving along in his truck.

(13) Your grandparents were once your age. Being with you reminds them of those wonderful years. Some people are hurting. Be nice to them too.
This is a blatant lie.

What happens when you turn 65 and your grandparents died when they were 64, but they are still with you in the urn on the mantlepiece ?

Awake thou that sleepest... "Advice to The Young", not to 65 year olds. Any 'dust to dust and ashes to ashes' grief---------> Spirituality Forum.

you've described yourself very well there. perhaps you do have a degree of self-insight after all. 'an irritating little headache of a man or woman to the rest of mankind' - i couldn't have described you better myself. well done!

here's some real advice to the young - beware of old fools who fart into a plastic bag, tie it off and try to sell it to you as a helium balloon.

WRONG! Master the art of spin and blow those 'keep-the-ball-on-the-table' patzers OFF the table.

does GB PM you late at night with seductive words Rusty? he ignores you in public, you know. what's up with that? you should demand public acknowledgement as his buddy-bud.

You should pay attention to what you are doing stalking his threads, eventually you will get in trouble over it if you already haven't. Just some good friendly advice for you.

If you start jumping all over someone else other than GB, I will tell you about that also, I don't need the acknowledgement.

You are the one who needs acknowledgement, and people to know you are on side with them. Too bad you couldn't grow a pair, and stand on your own two feet. What ever keeps you happy and is good for you. Just remember the TOS rules, you may want to read the sticky thread left by Russ to see what is expected of everyone, he meant you too. 😉

(17) It's true that false and obsequious behavior will provide herd approval and flattery. Remember that trust is earned and that friendship isn't for sale.
