i have recently come to the conclusion that my game is seriously affected by moves made after the hours of 11.30pm on a thurs/fri/sat/sun and monday night......

hence i have decided on two options..

1. join AA
2. make move on tues/wed/thurs only..

therefore to those i am playing........

see you tuesday

I think it's deeper than that.
When I have had to many drinks the moves I make are great.
Its just that at night someone else log's onto my account. Retracts the moves and does silly moves instead.
Then when I wake up I find the silly moves from this third person and spend weeks trying to correct the damage.
This person only log's on after I have been drunk.

I want to know how to catch them?

I find drinking seriously reprehensable. I really think you should just say no!
Why go along with what your peers want you to do? As you suggest, it impairs your ability to play chess.
Yes, it might make you a great conversationalist, yes it might make you a brilliant musician, but it generally makes you pee more and stink out your mouth like a bear stinks out its arse.

And all this boasting about drinking a lot? Think of all the under-age kids here you may be influencing. How on earth are they going to turn into productive little units, hell bent on working themselves to death to make someone else richer than themselves if they follow your example and go out partying all night, 4 evenings a week!?!?

Next thing you know you'll be promoting free sex and space cake! There's no room for that on the top of the chess tree of life.

Sex should be free. You realy should not pay for it! I don't think you are setting a very good example.

I have of late been in the habit of only having one drinking session a week, be that it is usually friday night, (sometimes thurs) through to monday morning, with a couple of hours sleep slung in here and there when my body activates auto pilot and shuts down, this can sometimes happen in pubs, but usually its only for a hour or so, then I feel recharged enough to carry on drinking. This can sometimes lead to me been as drunk in the mornings as I was the night before, which is when I usually make moves, as of now I'm sitting here with a serious hangover due to having to drink Budwieser which I hate, because there was no Holsten Pils, or Stella, but back to my point that I usually spend weekdays compensating for moves made over the weekend.
But its all good.
