@hakima saidAt a party I drank a fifth of tequila. Went out to buy another, sat down had a couple more shots. They told me I was the life of the party. I blacked out, no recollection of me dancing with my boss, getting in a fight, throwing up etc. I've drank only a few times since then.
Beer, wine, gin…manageable…
Tequila…well, you know…

[Well, it wouldn't be a proper alcohol thread if *someone* didn't delete their posts the next day.]
@gambrel saidSounds like my average lunch time.

@ghost-of-a-duke saidYou will enjoy your meal, I'm sure. I'm still having a week without any alcohol since last Friday when I think it got too much. It often gets too much when all us nine canasta friends get together for a meal, that's the tradition. So until Friday, no wine for me.
Having a curry tonight and will be opening a bottle of red wine. Curry without a glass just isn't the same.
@torunn saidI can have Robbie run you off a few hundred gallons of whatever your chosen drink is?
My 55 year old daughter hardly ever uses alcohol whereas I am very fond of wine. She claims that alcohol is one the most dangerous drugs there are - it's just that we live in a country that accepts alcohol but no other drugs.
Can I have our views, please.
