Ian Gillan has an incredible voice and that song happens to be my absolute favourite too. 😀
Interesting text. 😉

Woohoo, I just got back from the concert! My ears are ringing, but what the heck 😀
Even though I'm no big fan of Alice Cooper, I gotta say he impressed me a lot. Deep Purple was also great, but they played a load of songs I didn't know 😉
Anyway, in case anybody wants more details, ask me-I'm too tired now, so I'll go to bed and hope the ringing in my ears goes away 😉
Are you trying to tell me Alice Cooper is still performing? I'm surprised to hear he is still alive ...

U-hum... 😳🙂

Actually there are lyrics to that song, but they're not what makes it a brilliant piece of music. Have you heard "Child in time"? It's not very interesting musically either, but somehow it gives me the goosbumps every time I hear it...

No, I don't think I have heard it. But I absolutely agree that great pieces don't have to have great lyrics. Most of my favourite music doesn't have lyrics at all. 🙂

Sweet child in time you'll see the line
The line that's drawn between the good and the bad
See the blind man shooting at the world
Bullets flying taking toll
If you've been bad, Lord I bet you have
And you've been hit by flying lead
You'd better close your eyes and bow your head
And wait for the ricochet.

And that's the lot apart from the aaaaaaaa aaaaaaas etc.
It's over ten minutes long too. [most versions]

Alice Cooper's a legend. Poison being my favourite.
And so are Deep Purple, that riff is brilliant.

Yeah! He also plays a mean round of golf.
