What can the closeness of friends be measured by?
How much they know about you and how much you know about them? The degree of trust? How much you overlap with each other in terms of values or perspectives? Or how much you differ and yet complement each other?
(3 TD are undeserved)
Shared values and a great deal of trust are certainly part of being close friends.
Complementing is another thing, but very difficult.
