Am i the only one to notice "connections" between the posted "question" and the reply "answer".

for example:
Q: what gets you 'in the mood'?
A: either the kitchen table or the office photocopier.
I still think we should analyse it. I went and bought a note book and a new pen specially and now I'm going to make some notes for a bit.

Analysis of poster: appears deranged, possibly into playing chess., definitely of the male sex.
Analysis of post: Elipsis at the end of first sentence betrays fondness for pornography. Frequent abuse of pornography becomes evident with reference to Buddhist Monks (i.e. trying to change the subject.)
Conclusion: Regular medication and more green vegetables. No more coffee, ever.
Post.2.by.Starrman.
Analysis of poster: appears deranged, possibly into science fiction, definitely has enormous porn collection.
Analysis of post: Post does not comply with reality. 1 edit: obviously addicted to paracetamol. Spelt Christmas with a small c, very interesting. Further analysis required, God willing.
Conclusion: This brave young man will go on to be a pioneering adventurer one day, inventing great theories about women's mood shifts. He will have seven children and die ugly.
Further analysis to follow if I could be bothered. This is getting boring. Ooh... look a window. Never noticed that before.

Imagine a post in the question thread. This post contains a question to the previous post and an answer for the next post. Now, the question must relate to the previous post's answer - this we know.
The answer leads the following poster to form a question. HOWEVER, within that *one* post, the question and the answer need not form a relationship.
Now, they often do - thereby allowing the thread to become a sort of word-association thread.
What can be read into the mind of the poster, based on his thought processes of first coming up with a question and then a (non-related) answer?

Originally posted by Alcrayes. i, for one, usually try to make the Q and A within the one post relevant to each other. As Starrman pointed out, the better posts in the thread generally do this.
