i don't dream anymore (good and bad), but last night i did have one. some people think dreams have meanings.

i was moving along (not sure where i was going), than i suddenly dropped, which woke me up with wide open eyes and my legs were up as if i was still falling... that was it

analyze this, what does it mean

I had a dream the other night that I was looking at a Huge Full Moon in the sky. A giant hand reached under it, closed over it... and everything went black.

I woke up.

Dreams are not always doorways into the subconscious, nor do they always "mean" something. When we dream, it's just our brain's way of shifting around data to help keep us sane. Most of the time, the images we "see" while dreaming are nothing more than random information.

I suppose the best guess is if you woke up with your legs in the air, that it would be a reflex to your body thinking you were actually falling, since you were falling in your dream.

Although, some Freudian groupies might tell you that you fell in your dream, because you want to fall back into the womb, because you miss your mother...and the reason you awoke with your legs in the air, is that you secretly desire to give birth to a child...actually, you want to give birth to yourself. See? You fell into the womb, but then you wanted to give birth back out to yourself. That's why your legs were in the air.

Dream interpretation is like palm reading...nobody can prove you wrong.

If, while you were moving along in your dream, you were actually walking, then "to dream that you have difficulties walking, indicates that you are reluctant and hesitant in proceeding forward in some situation. You may also be trying to distance yourself from certain life experiences. The difficulty in walking is a reflection of your current situation and the obstacles that you are experiencing."

"To dream that you fall and are not frightened, signifies that you will overcome your adversities with ease."

"To dream that you fall and are frightened, indicates a lack of control, insecurity, and/or lack of support in your waking life. You may be experiencing some major struggle and/or overwhelming problem. It may denote that you have failed to achieve a goal that you have set forth for yourself."

One time in my early twenties, I had this dream I was banging some old broad who looked a lot like Barbara Bush and I kept repeating:

"I am the fussbudget of joy"

I have no clue what it meant and I am kind of scared to find out.

Suddenly dropping is generally a sign that one side of your brain fell asleep slightly before the other. That results in a dropping sensation.

If your legs were up in the air it probably means you were buggered by your room mate.

I believe there are dreams and there visions. Dreams can be brain made due to stress, etc etc..

Visions occur and I am great believer that they have guidance or warnings. Most of the time they are hard to interpret but once the even happens, you can relate to it and remember your "dream".

As for you dream, or better still vision, here is my interpretation - and God knows best;
You are heading to uncertainty. The act of falling indicates instability, a big change, but in on way or other, you are seeking it as you were walking towards it.

If this was only a dream made by your mind, then that often happens when the air supply to the brain decrease as the person sleeping in an odd way that narrowing the veins to the brain. however it happens, if the brain senses a decrease in the oxygen supply, then it manufacture a "fright" that makes you jump waking you up suddenly, in effect to adjust your sleeping position. And this is a true fact.

Dream analysis is a joke! It's even worse than the horiscope thing.
🙁 However, many of you came up with some pretty good (funny) posts. 🙂
