I always reply. Most of them reply if you seem interested. My record is 7 emails from them after the first. The key is to slowly increase the absurdity but keep them thinking you are going to give them your details.
I would post a link to a hilarious correspondance one website has but it and the entire site contains swearing and I'm not too sure if it would be a good idea. If you want the link PM me.
