Has anyone seen that they are releasing a 25th Anniversery, Double Secret Probation Edition of Animal House? Non rated of course.
Just some musings:
1. Does the fact that this movie is 25 years old make anyone feel very old?
2. Who thinks this movie is a classic?
3. Which is better, Animal House or The Blues Brothers?
I am feeling very old now.
It is a classic that I will be adding to my DVD collection!
Animal House by a nose...π
What extra stuff will be in it over and above the current version on DVD (which I have)?
Animal House is a total classic - one of my favorite films.
Blues Brothers is better by far - the most classic scene is the upscale restaurant when they sit down and throw food into each others mouths. Then when Jake goes up to the retentive family and says 'How much for your children? Sell me your wife!' - damn funny.
'You're going to look pretty funny eating sweet corn with no fxxxing teeth!'

Originally posted by willatkinsA couple of years back I started a PhD at a certain North Eastern college, and just had to make the pilgrimage to the real animal house... It doesn't seem to have changed too much since the movie's writer was a frat member... nasty, nasty, place!
