Everyone will be logged out tomorrow AM GMT.

All things going well with final some tests and fixes, some new code will be going live tomorrow morning. The result of this is that everyone will need to log in again after the update is made. (You will be logged out automatically.)
Nothing too exciting in this release, I'm afraid, some changes to some core code which will result in little noticable difference to anyone, apart from a slight performance benefit (always good).

Well, as always - that release was not without its difficulties.
Well done me who managed to write some code that would log everyone else out when someone else logged in. Now, I know the purpose of this release was to improve security, but I think only allowing one user to be logged on at a time was going to far. 🙂
I can laugh now, but I was sweating 10 minutes ago...

I'm keeping my fingers crossed that you've done something that will stop me getting thrown out every 4th or fifth move...
Andrew
Well, I can't say that I have for sure. But please let me know, as I have improved performance, and what you are seeing maybe a result of an overloaded server. Did you see my post elsewhere about the alternate brands? Next time you have this problem, please try chessatwork, and see if the problem persists. I would be very interested to know if it doesn't.

Originally posted by RussI wasn't able to log in about an hour and a half ago, but now it's fine...maybe it's just me, but could it be that the site has become a little faster?
