people seem to forget - English has become the central language of the world but not everybody in the world can speak English. Does he have a profile? if not maybe he couldn't fill that in either..? It's possible that he doesn't even use the same alphabet (Turkish, Greek, Russian, Chinese...) so won't have a hope of understanding you. Maybe he is chosing to ignore you, but maybe not.
