I am 20 and looking to buy my second car, i am looking to spend between 4.5k to 6k and to purchase a second hand car no older than 2006. I am trying to find the sportiest looking car i can, i love coupes but realise they are out of my price range. At the moment it looks like i am going to buy a black fiesta. I Just wondered if anyone else had bought any sporty looking cars recently for around that price. I can only afford an insurance of less than 1500 so that needs to be thought about.

Thanks guys

You cannot go wrong with any Hynduai product. Very reliable and faster than most people would consider.

Yes in the Uk and have been looking on auto trader and local car showrooms but have been unable to find a local black fiesta at the moment so was just wondering of any other suggestions. Most the hyundia cars i can afford are quite boxy looking dont you think?

I should think that someone who can afford "a second car" wouldn't have to worry too much about the costs or do you mean your first car is pooched and you're looking for a replacement? If so Autotrader makes sense. Good luck. Why nothing older than 2006?

Maybe drop the date restriction and go for something older but more to your liking. There are, I'm sure, some sportier cars in your price range that may be there for you.

Buy a Volvo and with the money you save get that "member enlargement" operation, which is probably the real question you are asking.

Ok you have 4.5k to spend and you're 20...

Buy yourself a year return flight to somewhere less depressing than the UK, basically anywhere that has more than one week of summer weather per year, buy your Visa's and go live and work there, they will have public transport so you won't need a car. I would recommend Australia simply because they almost speak English ๐Ÿ˜‰

Hey, enough of that "almost", at least we don't speak American or Kiwi - and we do speak beer and footy ... ๐Ÿ™‚ And Melbourne public transport is way better than Sydney.

The Pursuit Special is the fictional model of car driven by Max Rockatansky, the main character of the films Mad Max and Mad Max 2. It is a 1973 Ford Falcon XB GT coupe customized to become a police interceptor of the Main Force Patrol. The same car was used in both films.

The vehicle is also known erroneously as The Interceptor due to The Mechanic describing it as "the last of the V-8 interceptors" in Mad Max 2.

...

When eventually the story required for the car to be destroyed by rolling down a ditch and then blown up, the duplicate car was used, leaving the original car to be scrapped. The car was rescued and restored somewhat, having a new nose cone fitted but retaining the fuel tanks from Mad Max 2. It was shown widely in Australia before being sold and shipped to the Cars of the Stars Motor Museum in England.

Onslow is a fictional character in the British 1990s comedy series Keeping Up Appearances, portrayed by actor Geoffrey Hughes. Onslow is a lower class relative of the social-climbing snob, Hyacinth Bucket (pronounced bouquet). He is married to Hyacinth's sister Daisy, their surname is never mentioned. They live in a run-down council house with Daisy's promiscuous sister Rose, and the sisters' senile father, called "Daddy". Onslow owns a dog, who lives outside in a ruined Hillman Avenger. ...
