Being helpful though, there is actually (can you believe this) a Man Utd Clan on RHP. If you subscribe they might let you join....
They get everywhere don't they? Man U fans I mean. We even have 7 year old kids in Leeds wearing them these days, because they don't know better.

I don't have any issue with United, they are a quality team and I have been to OT more times than the majorty of Utd fans - it does look a little odd however when the more widespread fan base sees the need to go to extraordinary lengths to justify their support, there really is no need.
It is a natural progression, the team has more exposure, both historically and presently, so will get a larger and more widespread following, each then feeds the other.
I am much the same with American Football, I have never been to a game but I follow a team that I first saw in the early eighties when it was high profile.
The answer to the original post question will therefore be a resounding yes, probably hundreds on this site - the only debate worth having is on the definition of the word "fan".
I am off now to witness no doubt another afternoon of unpredictable football related humour with a solid 9 player base and two fat blokes upfront, but hey, some things you are just born into.....
