Any other good ways to search for Technip employees on RHP ?

Maybe we can have a special tournament called the Technip invitational,
then RHP players who look for tournaments will see it and wonder what it is about.

I think some sort of thematic novelty set up,
like ? Knights vs Bishops ?
A king each, White with 7 knights and 8 pawns, the Black with 7 bishops and 8 pawns,

Then a bit of text on the invite saying, this themed tournament was bought to you by "Technip Chess" Club.,
I think groups of 4 with up to 16 players.
3day per move, 7day time bank.

Who can make this happen ?

I think you'll have an easier time reaching them where they work rather than here at the site.

It would be good if it was that easy,
unfortunately it would be a email abuse and would be a bad thing.

Additionally I dont want the various upper management to think I am wasting peoples time, so I need to target more directly,

Some of the offices have social club notice boards,
but I have not yet found the contacts in these offices to put something up for me.

I will find some though, eventually.

Your droll reply brings up a good question:

How many RHP members play their games on their own time, and how many "steal" time from their employers?

we have an internet filter at our work, which blocks entertainment, including rhp. It unfortunately also blocks many other useful resources too.

Then your supervisors shouldn't object to your placing notes on Technip bulletin boards here and there
(no company e-mail, of course) asking your colleagues if they play chess on RHP and, if so, would they
be interested in forming a club.

Maybe the message could inform the user to work on tactics, suggest good chess books and links to where to hire GMs.

It would take time for them to become an IM though (if at all), so it wouldn't be an IIMM (Instant International Master Message).
